Invision awarded Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status

Following an in-depth compliance audit by the UK Customs Office, Invision is excited and proud to announce that it has been awarded the status of Authorised Economic Operator (AEO).

AEO is based on the Customs-to-Business partnership introduced by the World Customs Organisation (WCO). Companies which meet a range of specified criteria work in close cooperation with customs authorities to assure the common objective of supply chain security. These companies are entitled to enjoy benefits throughout the EU.

In achieving AEO status, Invision demonstrates its ongoing ability to be a safe and secure business partner, its excellent relationship with UK Customs and other government authorities, and its strong multinational logistical offering.

Invision takes huge pride in achieving the highest levels of compliance in the import and export of products. It is testament to the company’s business processes and procedures that the UK Customs Office has awarded them the coveted AEO accreditation.

Mark Taylor, Invision’s commercial director, said, ‘The achievement of AEO status is something that the whole of the Invision team can be proud of. We continually strive to be the perfect business partners for our customers and this recognition by the UK Customs Office validates our operational methodology.’
