GJD TechSmart Includes SDDP for Integration with Control4

GJD TechSmart Includes SDDP for Integration with Control4 - December 2018

GJD is delighted to announce the award winning GJD TechSmart devices now incorporate Simple Device Discovery Protocol (SDDP) software for easy and seamless integration with Control4. SDDP software is built into GJD's TechSmart devices to make it even easier for Custom Integrators to install and configure GJD into Control4 home and commercial automation projects. Mark Tibbenham, GJD's Managing Director commented:

"We are extremely pleased to be a Control4 partner. The addition of SDDP software and certified Control4 Drivers considerably simplifies integration and enhances Control4 smart home systems. GJD's products measure outdoor light level and ambient temperature, as well as providing perimeter detection and early intruder warning alerts to optimise environmental control and provide peace of mind for the home owner."

With SDDP, the Control4 home automation system will automatically find and add the GJD SDDP-enabled devices to the platform, this dramatically reduces complexity and the installation time for Control4 dealers. Custom Integrators also save time and avoid potential programming mistakes.

GJD's SDDP certification facilitate more versatile smart solutions for home and commercial projects. The integration delivers intelligent lighting, climate control, external perimeter protection and intruder detection.

GJD also recently announced direct integration with Lutron and Rako allowing installers to easily connect TechSmart devices to Lutron or Rako lighting systems. This new integration functionality is embedded in the GJD firmware and very simply configured from its web interface. For Lutron, just enter the Lutron Phantom Keypad ID and Button number, for Rako, just enter Room number and command to recall.

For Lutron and Rako lighting systems, you can programme bespoke effects including the dimming of a single light, a complete scene or even a complex lighting sequence - all in response to a TechSmart activated event.
