Committed to supporting our customers

On behalf of the Midwich Group UK&I team I would like extend our very best wishes to our friends and business partners during this difficult time.

We are still working, and service levels remain unaffected.  Our people are operating from home and have been for some weeks now – I have been delighted with how robust our remote working capabilities have been.  

Our warehouse teams are continuing to provide services, whilst adhering to social distancing guidelines. We are immensely proud of them.

A great number of our products form part of mission critical installations in the health, defence, education and emergency services sectors. We also supply collaboration and conferencing solutions plus video streaming hardware to improve remote communications – this is something that has been mandated by the government as a priority.

I believe that our customers need our support now, more than ever before, and the Midwich Group team will continue help to the best of our ability.

Like many businesses in the UK, some of our people are not able to work due to the current situation. We are supporting our team, and amongst other things some of our people are taking a short break, in line with the government’s retention scheme.  

The majority of our customer, product and service-focused staff are still working and make up, what I believe to be, the largest team of AV sales and product specialists in UK distribution.

For the staff that are taking a temporary break, we will be doing all that we can to provide the support they need. For the majority, AV and technology is a way of life and many of our people will be taking it upon themselves to brush up on the latest technologies and to help with Midwich Group’s various charities and community projects as well as the government’s volunteer scheme.
