Pulse Cinemas enjoys the EI Live! spotlight
The Pulse Cinemas team returned from EI Live! 2025 celebrating another successful event that showcased the strength, innovation and sheer desirability of our world-class brand line-up. Across every part of the stand, installers were treated to a hands-on experience with some of the most forward-thinking AV technologies currently shaping the home cinema and smart home sectors.
Innovation
A standout attraction was the Trinnov AltitudeCI, the new immersive audio processor that delivers scalable, high-end performance across both luxury media rooms and private cinemas. The unit’s native support for both Dante and Ravenna/AES67 ensures complete compatibility across a huge range of projects, while its modular licensing model allows integrators to build bespoke models for each project. With up to 32 channels available now - and a 64-channel version due in 2026 - the AltitudeCI drew a constant crowd of dealers keen to see its redesigned user interface and wizard-based guided calibration workflow in action.
Mad for it!
madVR Labs also commanded serious attention with its next-generation Envy Extreme MK3 and Core MK2 video processors. These cutting-edge models introduce full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, 8K readiness, advanced GPUs and innovative features such as MotionAI and Dynamic Subtitle Overlay. The Envy range continues to redefine reference-level image processing, offering installers powerful options for both premium projection systems and high-end flat-panel applications. Visitors were particularly impressed with how these updates blend performance, upgradability and user accessibility, further underlining our position as the go-to destination for elite video solutions.
Smart control, redefined
On the control front, AVA OS 2.0 demonstrated how elegant design and powerful functionality can combine. With its newly overhauled interface inspired by classic Swiss design principles, the platform now supports macOS, Windows and iPad, alongside native AVA devices. This means faster setup, improved workflow for installers and a consistent control experience across multiple devices. The latest update also brings expanded IP driver support, covering a huge range of devices thanks to AVA’s integrated AI-driven development process.
A winning combination
A major talking point at EI Live! was the complete short-throw projection package built around the Leica Cine 1. Partnered with Screen Innovations’ pop-up UST screen, MaxLight cabinet, Paradigm speakers and Anthem’s compact MRX SLM processor, the setup underlines how a whole new generation of high-performance media rooms can be created with ease. The MaxLight cabinet’s smooth motorised operation and discreet storage proved how elegant and easy high-performance these systems can be.
This clever combination underlines Pulse Cinemas’ ability to curate systems that meet real-world installer needs—offering design appeal, efficiency and serious performance in one package.
Home cinema highlights
The Kaleidescape area was another big success, with the brand’s Strato E and Strato M movie players drawing attention for their balance of performance and accessibility. These models deliver reference-quality video and audio, opening the door to a wider range of customers and installations while retaining the impeccable playback standards that define Kaleidescape.
The Pulse of success
Reflecting on the event, Tom Hawes, Senior Sales Specialist at Pulse Cinemas, summed up the mood, “Lots of excitement around AltitudeCI as dealers were impressed with the new UI and what it can offer when it gets released. David Meyerowitz from Trinnov was very busy giving live demonstrations of the new interface and walking through the benefits of the new CI. Another big draw of the stand was the Leica Cine 1, MaxLight cabinet and Screen Innovations pop-up UST screen. Dealers were really drawn to the image performance from the Leica and also the hide-away screen and retracting drawer for the projector. This got a lot of positive feedback from dealers that could see a lot of use cases for it.”
