EI Live! 2024 once again proved to be a strong platform for the smart home and luxury AV industry, with the Invision/Pulse Cinemas stand garnering lots of attention and generating many positive conversations.
Mike Beatty, Managing Director of Invision and Pulse Cinemas, says, “With over 200 visitors to our stand across the two-day show, we were delighted with how the products and concepts we were presenting were received by attendees. The quality of attendees was very strong, as always at this event, and visitors to our stand were able to gain direct insight into many of our most recent releases and opportunities.”
A key highlight of the stand was the AVA Cinema Remote, with this relatively new launch generating significant attention. This sleek, intuitive remote control, designed for high-end home theatres, had installers queuing up to get hands-on experience. The AVA Cinema Remote’s ability to seamlessly integrate multiple systems while offering precise control with a user-friendly interface made it an instant favourite among the professionals who attended. The show underlined how AVA’s reputation as an industry leader is only growing stronger.
The Pulse/Invision team engaged in numerous productive discussions surrounding Trinnov’s WaveForming technology, the cutting-edge innovation that transforms the acoustic landscape of home cinemas. The technology impressed visitors with its ability to offer unparalleled precision in sound delivery, ensuring optimal audio experiences no matter the room configuration. Integrators saw real potential in how WaveForming could help them elevate their project installations, especially in challenging environments where sound quality is paramount.
The madVR Envy Core processor also proved to be a showstopper. This powerful processor offers remarkable video enhancements at a competitive price point, generating excitement among integrators. The level of detail and visual impact it delivers has big potential to improve a wide range of projects. The discussions surrounding madVR Envy Core highlighted a growing demand for accessible, high-performance video solutions in the luxury AV space.
Likewise, the Kaleidescape Strato V made waves, as visitors recognised its potential to reshape the way users interact with their movie collections. The Strato V brings the power of Kaleidescape’s renowned movie server technology at a more affordable price point, making it an appealing option for a wider range of home cinema installations. The device’s ability to deliver pristine, high-quality playback with seamless integration into larger home cinema systems or more compact media room projects was a talking point throughout the show.
Adding to the excitement, the event also served as the perfect platform to announce CYP’s new distribution deal with Invision, which sparked considerable interest. This strategic partnership was seen as a win for the industry, providing installers with easier access to CYP’s wide range of AV distribution solutions. The positive reception to this announcement reflects our ongoing commitment to expanding our portfolio with top-tier brands.
The team were also delighted to be able to showcase the abilities of a very new introduction from Krix in the form of the OWX-50 and OWX-55. Created to be high-performance on-wall speakers, these new introductions deliver cinematic sound to any home without compromising on space or style. A good selection for media rooms, games rooms or dedicated home cinemas, the OWX-50 and OWX-55 deliver the precision and impact Krix is respected for, from a compact, Australian-made design. Capable of high-power handling and sensitivity, every sound is delivered with power and dynamic range resulting in a more immersive, engaging experience.
Rounding out the buzz around the stand, the Anthem MRX SLM attracted attention as a standout piece of audio equipment. Compact yet powerful, the MRX SLM offers robust sound performance in a form factor that fits effortlessly into any room. Its blend of size, performance, and advanced features was a hit among integrators looking for a solution that delivers exceptional sound without compromising aesthetics.
