Kaleidescape certification

Recently updated, the online Kaleidescape Dealer Certification Programme takes dealers through the fundamentals of selling Kaleidescape systems. The course covers an overview of Kaleidescape products and how to configure simple systems, including the latest flagship player.

The programme also goes over the Disc-to-Digital programme and the important skill of performing A/B demonstrations. There are eight core courses in total - each taking an average of about 15 minutes. Complete each one to be automatically enrolled in the next. After course completion, dealers are provided with a certificate showing they have completed the programme. The business will then be registered as having the mandatory certified employee needed to meet the certification requirement to be a 'Certified Integrator'.

Kaleidescape certified integrator 2025 course details

• The Kaleidescape sales proposition provides a brief overview of why Kaleidescape is the ultimate movie platform, especially when compared to streaming sources.
• Extranet access and placing orders explains how to access the Kaleidescape Dealer Extranet and use it to manage company settings, create quotes and place orders.
• Product overview - an overview of Kaleidescape's current product line.
• System architecture describes basic configurations of Kaleidescape systems with varying storage sizes and playback zones. The course includes using Co-Star to join a Strato system to a Premiere system.
• Detailed information about the Strato V Movie Player covers the full features and abilities of the Strato V movie player product.
• Strato V installation and configuration - an overview of how to install and set up a Strato V player in both standalone and grouped modes.
• Disc-to-Digital deep dive - an overview of the Disc-to-Digital programme and the process to catalogue DVD and HD Blu-ray discs for use in the programme.
• How to perform an A/B demo between a Kaleidescape system and a streaming player to demonstrate the differences between the two sources.

Lutron RA 3 training/certification

There has been plenty of buzz around this important launch from the world’s leading smart lighting and shading company, with dealers filling up the classes to get certified on this new platform. Designed to sit pricewise between RadioRA 2 and the HomeWorks platform, RadioRA 3 offers a choice of controls, intelligent lighting and automated window treatments that communicate wirelessly.

It has been created to deliver exquisite, intuitive home control to a growing market segment. The integrated control system arrived alongside the Vierti keypad, a modern control featuring a hybrid load control option and Lumaris RGB+ tunable white tape light.

The RadioRA 3 training programme is a one-day, in-person course designed exclusively for dealers. Upon completing the course, dealers will be listed on a dedicated Lutron RadioRA 3 website, enabling them to generate new leads as homeowners search for lighting and control solutions. The course fee is £450 + VAT, which includes a starter kit containing three circuits of lighting and control.

madVR certification

To become a madVR certified Envy Product Specialist, Level 1, dealers can complete the free, self-paced Envy Academy Online course and pass the certification exam. Industry professionals who complete the course and exam are recognised as certified and earn three CEDIA CEUs.

The Envy Academy Online offers a free, self-paced course designed for integrators to learn about madVR Envy products. Covering everything from setup to advanced calibration techniques, the course equips dealers with the knowledge to unlock the full potential of Envy systems. After completing the Envy Academy Online course, dealers are eligible to take the certification exam. Upon successful completion, the dealer is recognised as a 'Certified for Envy - Product Specialist, Level 1'.

Trinnov certification

Trinnov certification comes in two forms: Level One and Level Two.

Level One provides students with competence in installation, setup and at least an intermediate understanding of the Trinnov Optimizer. This means any person holding an active Trinnov Level One Certification can competently install and set up a Trinnov system. These installers will be officially authorised and registered on the company’s website.

The Level One training and certification programme is free of charge and available in both in-person and online formats, including hands-on training. Online students will calibrate a system remotely.

The Trinnov High-End Level Two certification course and exam are exclusively offered to current Level One certified integrators looking for a deeper understanding and the ability to calibrate any Trinnov Altitude processor.

Level Two certification takes a deep dive into the intricacies of the Trinnov Optimizer’s settings, along with an in-depth examination of acoustics, immersive audio layouts, advanced calibration and interpreting graphs to customise and fine-tune a Trinnov Altitude in advanced home cinema environments.

Trinnov Training Certification Level 2 is a one-day, in-person class created with a hands-on (and ears-on) approach. Students will adjust advanced settings and then listen critically through an iterative process to ensure the best possible listening experience, fully understanding how the technology works and elevating audio to the next level.

To pass the Trinnov High-End Level 2 Certification, students must successfully demonstrate proficiency in advanced calibration during the class and pass the written final exam with a score of 85% or higher.
