Karl Brett, Product Manager at Invision and responsible for the brand, is keen to draw integrators’ attention to some recent introductions.
“We have three new products to shout about,” says Karl. “First up, the D31TDV and D31TDH door stations. These are perfect for apartment buildings and commercial properties.”
Available in horizontal (D31TDH) and vertical (D31TDV) versions, the two models set new technical standards, delivering up to 1,000 remotely manageable units, a responsive 7" touch display and various access control options using a virtual keypad, RFID, and QR code reader. The inclusion of Bluetooth also means the units offer an enormous degree of flexibility and convenience.
As with all DoorBird door communication products, this series can be easily integrated into common access and building automation systems via the well-documented API.
In addition, customers can choose from over 50 different high-quality materials and finishes to suit the entrance situation and meet the aesthetic needs of the project.
Karl adds, “We also have the A1131 IP Mini Dome Camera, a great add-on to a DoorBird system to expand the video surveillance of the property.”
This compact additional camera, which can be mounted on the ceiling or wall, offers a high-resolution view of the entrance area thanks to the Full HD Sony image sensor, providing additional security and an extra viewing angle, adding real value to the DoorBird proposition.
Making the difference
As well as a strong product lineup, the brand brings other positives to the table. Karl explains, “DoorBird offers a custom configurator for the customer to design their own customised door entry panel. They can create specific dimensions, surfaces, colours and features. Combined with the Augmented Reality tool, you can visualise the panel where it will be installed. It’s a really nice design engine but also a great sales driver too.”
Karl adds, “DoorBird also offers a fully open API so installers can integrate it with various smart home platforms and home automation hubs. Usefully, there is no subscription service needed to use the system—the app and all notifications and video clips come free as standard.”
